David Hernández Fresno is a predoctoral researcher at PLANTsynergy. After finishing his BSc in Biotechnology at the University of Barcelona, he completed a MSc degree in Plant Biology, Genomics and Biotechnology at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Nowadays, he is carrying out his PhD research at the PLANTsynergy research group investigating the local and systemic hormonal modulation of plant responses to (a)biotic stress. To study that, he has used several plant species, including tomato or sweet cherry, and different microorganisms, like post-harvest decay fungi and arbuscular mycorrhizae.
