Research lines

Plant Physiology and Biochemistry

Fundamental studies on plant physiology and metabolism, with an emphasis on functional chemical compounds of special biological relevance.

Plant Ecophysiology

Mechanisms of abiotic stress tolerance, ecophysiology of invasive plants, parasitic plants and plants living in extreme environments.

AgriFood Biotechnology

Studies on fruit physiology and technology, flower development and senescence, crop tolerance to abiotic and biotic stressors and plant biostimulants.
